A Celtic supporter ran onto the pitch and tried to kick Kylian Mbappe during their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday evening.
In incident occurred in the first half of the fixture at Celtic Park after the Scottish champions went 3-0 behind.
The fan got in close proximity to Mbappe but his kick towards the France international missed by a fair distance.
The supporter was then taken away by security.
Celtic are now likely to receive a heavy punishment from UEFA.
Mbappe had scored PSG’s second goal of the game after Neymar had opened the scoring.
Edein Cavani netted a penalty shortly before half-time to make the score 3-0.
