Police have discovered the body of a student of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Miss Elizino Joshualia Ogege, who was declared missing last week.
The police said Ogege was murdered by people suspected to be ritual killers.
The 22-year-old girl, a 300 Level Mass Communication student, was declared missing last week by the police at the Abraka Police Station.
But her body was discovered on Sunday in a bush on the outskirts of Abraka with her vital organs missing.
Ogege’s breasts and tongue were said to have been severed by her killers for ritual purposes.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammad Mustafa, however, vowed that the command would leave no stone unturned to ensure that all persons connected to the crime were arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
Mustafa disclosed that some of the major suspects connected to the crime had been arrested and were assisting the police with the ongoing investigations.
