As we make last-minute preparations to flag off the second phase of visitations and consultations with different political stakeholders across our state in synergy with our party leaders, it is absolutely  necessary here to sell our redemption agenda to our people and strongly advise them against giving in to the lures of financial inducement to mortgage their future.

The decision you take today will make or mar your future but the holistic implementation of the joint resolutions adopted at the historic 2018 Turin Declaration will regenerate our state, you can rest assured.

The Kogi and Bayelsa elections have come and gone but leaving trails of yet another round of sorrow.

Be that as it may, we the Edo people must join forces with other true progressives to change the sad narrative and the course of history.

The historic Turin Declaration says every Edo person must stay safe and healthy, achieve economic well-being, enjoy life and make positive contributions to the development of our state and the nation of Nigeria.

Like I did say in my recent interview with Radio France, we intend to fashion out a quasi-welfare society where no one would be left in the lurch by the state government. That makes our redemption agenda communitarian rather than individualistic – a political system where everyone will be catered for or well provided for by the state government.

This is what obtains in the West and what we intend to replicate in our state to lift our people out of poverty.

We should not be mistaken for radical elements who are out to enthrone Marxist socialists or communists but every bit of our economic policies to regenerate our state shall be geared towards using the tax-payers’ money to create economic opportunities for everyone. This in the long run shall seek to check the self-destructive excesses of the present system and bring our regeneration agenda under greater democratic control.

Part of the joint resolutions adopted at the 2018 Turin Conference in Italy is to finance projects by direct community involvement and participation with a view to ensuring  the real issues facing our communities are directly addressed.

In this connection, we therefore urge the workers, peasants, youths, students to rise in solidarity against exploitation which the present system represents.

The historic 2018 Turin Declaration in Italy  favours and advocates a system where our people shall thrive and prosper as against a system plagued by rampant inequality where just a handful of multi-millionaires and billionaires live a life of blatant excess, completely oblivious to the poverty and suffering of the havesnot.

Edo State shall not be another Bayelsa or Kogi where the collective will of the people like a marriage was annuled via thuggery, electoral fraud and ultimately bastardized. We shall resist this in the strongest form with your active support.

The in-coming PPN-controled Edo State government shall among other economic packages introduce Child Benefit for children aged 1 to 18 years of age and free medical services for all.

Edo State under PPN shall introduce education allowance maintenance for children in our schools.

As a people-oriented political party, workers in the state shall be granted working tax credit for those earning below   N120,000 monthly.

In our housing for all agenda, Edo State Government under our leadership shall build new towns under Social Housing Schemes.

Like I said in my interview with Vanguard newspapers to create 700,000 jobs a year, we shall introduce  farming schemes to absorb workers throughout the state.

We intend to make an appreciable difference with our regeneration and redemption agenda.

All we crave is your active support to change the obviously sad narrative.
