Maiduguri: Boko Haram suicide bombers strike again, 5 dead

Several people have been reportedly killed, when suicide bombers detonated explosives at different locations, on the outskirt of Maiduguri, Borno State.

According to security and emergency officials, five persons – a member of the CJTF and four suicide bombers – lost their lives in the attacks.

The attacks occurred at Muna Usmanti, Muna garage and Muna Ethopia.

According to a statement by the Head Media and Public Relations, NEMA, Sani Datti, the incidence occurred on Wednesday morning at about 4:11am.

He however, stated that the injured and dead persons have been evacuated to the Maiduguri General Hospital by the rescue team from NEMA and Borno SEMA.
