The 2017 runners-up have been chosen to host the finals of the third edition’s showpiece event of the sub-regional tournament

Nigeria will host the 2021 West African Football Union Cup, according to sponsors, Fox Sports.

In a statement on its website, Fox Sports Africa confirmed that the country will host the third edition of the regional football fiesta in September 2021 on Tuesday.

Before then, the sponsors revealed that the second edition of the biennial tournament will be staged in Senegal in September 2019.
