Xenophobia: Aladura Christians to honour Air Peace boss, Allen Onyema, for airlifting Nigerians from South Africa

After the Xenophobic attacks on foreigners (including Nigerians) in South Africa, Air Peace Airlines volunteered to airlift Nigerians living In South Africa back home. This was done at no cost to the passengers and was seen as a patriotic move by Air Peace Airlines Chairman, Dr Allen Onyema. The kind gesture did not go unnoticed as the Aladura Patriach, Dr. Olapade Agoro, has nominated Dr Onyema as Nigeria’s Man of the Year and has conferred on him the Award of Grand Commander Order of Aladura (GCOA). In a letter made available to Naija News and Events, Dr Agoro said the magnanimity of Dr Onyema has secured the lives of many Nigerians, who hitherto, were susceptible to xenophobic violence in South Africa. Below is a copy of the letter:
